Full Moon Mania

We've all heard and read the stories about the full moon, from criminal activity to babies being born, never mind the vampires, werewolves and so on. The fact is some people are simply more sensitive to Moon Energy than others.

First of all, let's look at the moon, yes (tongue in cheek) from another lens.  The moon reflects energy just like a giant mirror.  What happens when you hold a mirror and reflect the light just right?  Yep, the energy increases and you can create fire, whether literally or figuratively as in firing the criminal mind, increase an effect or starting a pile of leaves burning.

Even scientists agree that the moon effects things like the tide, causing it to increase.  The body is mostly water, so the moon can increase the pressure of water inside of us too.  Ancient medicine relates water with emotions and of course things like tears, so it stands to reason that the moon can effect emotions.

Some people start to feel jittery a few days before the full moon. They may have trouble sitting still, can't settle down, or have trouble sleeping. Once the full moon cycle has completed, things return to normal.  If you were born during the time of a full moon, the effect will probably be greater. Others, born in a different part of the cycle, may feel lethargic from what stimulates you.

So how do you know if it's the moon creating your mania, or something else?  First of all, look for a Lunar Calendar.  They are easily found on the internet and in book stores. Farmer's Almanac will work too.  Now begin to create a Moon Journal.  Make notes each day about your emotions. After a couple of months you may begin to see emotional patterns emerge.  Using the Lunar Calendar as a reference, check what emotions may be related to certain cycles of the moon.  Don't forget the time of day too.  While the Moon has certain cycles during a month, it also moves through the different zodiac signs each day.  You may find that if the moon is in Scorpio, you will want to sting someone with words or actions.

Once you have created your Moon Journal, use it as a Spiritual Tool.  Use this information to develop a balanced routine that will help you work with the Lunar Energy.  If the moon amps up your energy, it might be the perfect time to work on your manifesting skills.  It could also be the time for psychic work.

Finally, let go of the idea that the Full Moon makes you crazy.  Work with the energy and change Full Moon Mania into Full Moon Magic.
